Lily woke up again and looked over at a group of strangers. What am I doing here? she thought. The last thing she remembered was Myotismon's bats flying around her, attacking. Am I in the digital world yet?
   Sitting up, she cringed as pain shot through her right shoulder. She glanced around her. Hey look! Digimon! Ooh, a Gabumon! He's so cute, she thought. Hmm...if there's digimon, then I'm probably in Digiworld. But what about those people? Wait a sec. If they have digimon, then that must mean they're the Digidestined!
   "...So Myotismon devised a way to return from the future. He attempted to join the digital world to the real world in order to join the two different times. This would slow down whatever we could do to destroy him and so he would be able to attack us no matter where he was. Plus, he could rule over the humans and digimon at the same time without not knowing what was going on in the other world."
   "But Izzy, then why did everything freeze?" asked Tentomon.
   "Because the digital world cannot be converted to operate in the real world. You see, our world acted as a large computer system, and the digital world was a computer program that Myotismon was trying to convert the real world too. But since the computer code the digital world could only be processed by was different than the one the real world uses, the computer reacted by becoming jammed," said Izzy.
   "But how did we get here? Wouldn't we be a different computer code too?" inquired Tai. "This makes no sense."
   "There's a difference, Tai. We're just bits of data, easily transferrable. But a whole world? Our world didn't have enough memory to merge with that. Our world was overloaded with information of the digi world!" replied Izzy. "It's simple enough."
   "Wow, you've figured that out already?" Lily said weakly.
   "You're awake again!" cried Mimi. "Okay, tell me. Where did you get that-"
   "Do you feel okay?" asked Matt.
   "I guess...I'm a little hungry though."
   "Okay, I'll get you some food," Sora said kindly.
   "What are you talking about? We haven't caught any fish yet!" said Tai.
   "Well, when you were busy complaining about that, I caught a whole bundle of small fish," replied Sora.
   "Oh."
   "See, they're right here. Here, this one looks cooked enough." Sora handed Lily the stick with the fish stuck on the top.
   "Thanks," Lily said. She munched on fish hungrily. "So… are you guys the Digidestined?"
   "How did you know that?" asked Joe.
   "Lucky guess." Lily grinned. "You digimon are so cute!"
   "You think?" asked Gomamon, shaking back his hair. "I just got a haircut."
   "It looks great," said Lily sincerely. "You're very handsome Gomamon."
   "Thanks," said Gomamon proudly as he sat up straighter. "So what's your name anyway?"
   "Oh! I'm Lily," Lily told him.
   "I'm Ma-"
   "Matt? And let me guess… hmm… you must be Tai," said Lily. "And you're Sora, Mimi, Joe, Izzy, T.K., and Kari. And you're Gabumon, Agumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Patamon, and Salamon. And I already know Gomamon."
   "How did you know all our names?" asked Biyomon. "Why are you here anyway?"
   "Gennai told me all about you."
   "Gennai?" asked Izzy suspiciously. "You know who Gennai is?"
   "Of course. He's the one who sent me here. I have a message for you," said Lily. "It's really important. You need it for when you defeat Myotismon again."
   "Again?"
   "Oh, right, you haven't done that yet," mused Lily. "Well, first you've got to get back to the real world."
   "How do you suppose we do that?" asked Matt.
   "I don't know," said Lily helplessly.  "I'm just supposed to help you through your journey and make sureMyotismon doesn't make any drastic changes from the past."
  "The past? Boy, this is really confusing," said Mimi. "Oh, and I forgot to ask you, where did-"
  "Yes, it all fits in," Izzy said distractedly. "You've been sent here from the future because Myotismon is trying to change the past."
  "Exactly." Lily smiled.
  "You mean we beat Myotismon?" asked T.K. excitedly.
  "Yeah, you did. But he's trying to stop you from doing it again."
  "Wow," said Kari. "I hope we'll beat him this time."
  Lily nodded. I better tell them everything. Oh, but I'm so tired. "Um...do you guys mind if I rest a little bit?"
  "Sure, go ahead," Tai answered.
  "Here, you'll be more comfortable inside the tent," Matt told her, leading her into it. "There. You'll fell better in no time."
  "Thank you," Lily said. She rolled over on her side and closed her eyes.  Wow, he's really nice.
  Matt started to go back to the group but stopped. "Hey, so why do you have a crest?"
  "What? Oh, I have my own digimon too. She hurt herself though, so she's staying in the real world with Gennai until she gets better."
  "Oh."
  "Gabumon's pretty cool, huh?" Lily said with her eyes still closed. "He's my favorite digimon… aside from Ponymon, that is."
  "Yeah… well, I'll see you later when you wake up, okay?" said Matt. "Hey, what's that rumbling sound?"
  "Oh no!" Lily stood up quickly despite the streak of pain that rain through her back. She winced. "It's-"
  "Happy to see me, you Digidestined fools?" cried Myotismon.
  Everyone turned to find an evil face staring at them from above. "Get him Agumon!" said Tai.
  "Agumon digivolve to...Greymon!"
  "Nova blast!" A large fireball whipped through the air and hit Myotismon's shoulder, bouncing off.
  "That is so pathetic," Myotismon said. "I'll just get rid of you one by one until- what? You're still alive?" Myotismon stared angrily at Lily. "I thought I destroyed you!"
  "Well, you didn't!" said Lily, not knowing what to do.
  "Grisly wings!" A horde of bats covered everyone, draining their energy and the digimon's strength to digivolve. Myotismon flew over and picked Lily up. "Fools! Now I will have the pleasure of destroying you once more!" He looked at Lily. "And as for you, you can became my slave in my dark kingdom!"
  "No!" Lily cried. What are we going to do? Come on you guys...get up! I know we can do it! We can beat him! We've just got to get up and try!
  A bright light shone out from Lily's crest and into Myotismon's eyes. "What's this?" he said angrily.
  The large brown door appeared behind them and it opened. "Ponymon to the rescue!"
  A small little pony with a dark brown mane flew out of the door. "Ponymon digivolve to...Unamon!"
  "Unamon! Thank goodness you're here!" cried Lily.
  "Fire spin!" Unamon cried as a twirl of fire flew out of her mouth. Her white wings flew her above Myotismon and she held her horn high.
  Myotismon flew to the side, still holding Lily. "Crimson Lightning!"
  Unamon fell back as Myotismon striked her with his red bolt of electricity. "Unamon! You can do it!" Lily cried. I believe in you.
  "Unamon digivolve to...Lightmon!" A digimon with a fairy-like appearance tilted back her crown of feathers as she tested her blue wings, standing in the place where Unamon was. "Mist of light!" she cried as a ball of light gathered in her gloved hands.
  Myotismon darted out of the way but held Lily to mist. "Ahh!" she cried as it hit her. Lily fell out of Myotismon's hands and into the lake beneath her, sinking down to the bottom of the lake.
  "Lily!" cried Lightmon. The water from Lily's fall splashed into her face. "Oh no!"
